Man Utd Make Improved £60m Bid for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo

Manchester United have tabled an improved bid of over £60 million for Brentford’s star forward Bryan Mbeumo, as the club looks to accelerate their summer rebuild under new manager Ruben Amorim.

Having seen their initial offer worth up to £55m rejected, United have returned with a stronger proposal that closely matches Brentford’s valuation.

The 25-year-old Cameroonian international, who scored 20 Premier League goals last season and delivered seven assists, has reportedly agreed personal terms and is said to favour a move to Old Trafford over rival interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

Mbeumo, a versatile attacker known for his work rate, two-footed finishing, and blistering pace, is seen as an ideal fit for Amorim’s high-tempo system.

His league-topping 202 crosses and 9.26 expected assists last season highlight his creative value, while only Mohamed Salah ranked higher in the Sky Sports Power Rankings.

With Matheus Cunha already set to join from Wolves, Mbeumo’s imminent arrival signals United’s intent to overhaul their attack.

Should the deal be finalised before pre-season, fans may get their first glimpse of Mbeumo in United colours during the upcoming U.S. tour.

The Theatre of Dreams could soon welcome one of the league’s most dynamic forwards.
