The stage is set at Lord’s for the ICC World Test Championship 2025 Final, and both Australia and South Africa have revealed their playing XIs ahead of the much-anticipated clash.

With the iconic ground hosting its first WTC final, all eyes are on London as cricket gears up for its “Ultimate Test.”

Defending champions Australia have named a strong, familiar side, spearheaded by captain Pat Cummins. Josh Hazlewood returns to the XI after a spell on the sidelines, joining Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon in the bowling attack.

Beau Webster retains his spot as an all-rounder following impressive recent performances. Marnus Labuschagne moves up to open alongside Usman Khawaja, while Cameron Green, recovered from a back injury, slots in at No. 3.

For South Africa, skipper Temba Bavuma won the toss and opted to bowl first. Ryan Rickelton partners Aiden Markram at the top, with Wiaan Mulder surprisingly chosen at three.

Lungi Ngidi gets the nod over Dane Paterson in a pace-heavy attack featuring Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen. Keshav Maharaj provides spin.

With Australia eyeing back-to-back titles and South Africa chasing a first ICC crown since 1998, the final promises a riveting contest between two proud cricketing nations.
