Kylian Mbappe showcased his skill against Atletico Madrid in the LaLiga on Saturday. He scored a goal in the second half and helped Real Madrid manage a draw against Atletico.
With the Mbappe scoring a goal in the second half, Real Madrid stays on top of the LaLiga table with 50 points. With this draw, Atletico missed their chance to be on top since they are just one point behind Real, while Barcelona standing third on the table with 45 points.
While Atletico managed to dominate the first half of the match and also took the lead when Julian Alvarez got a penalty after the Aurelian Tchouameni foul, still, they still could not hold back for long, with Mbappe scoring a goal in the second half by canceling out Alvarez.
Real Madrid were back in the game after the first half was ended. But it wasn’t easy for them to make a draw, as Jan Oblak made a lot of amazing saves.
Also, Atletico’s Diego Simeone showed why he is one the best defence in the game, but saving a lot of crucial hits. He did his best in the close range as a lot of efforts were made by Vinicius, Mbappe, Bellingham, and Rodrygo.
